Webinars

Join us for a workshop in our Additive Manufacturing Series.  This webinar will discuss why the Additive Manufacturing (AM) industry is interested in making larger parts faster, and look at a variety of case studies showing the possibilities with large-scale AM. As the technologies and equipment used in Additive Manufacturing/3D Printing continues to evolve, the ability to make large parts is growing. Additive technologies are being routinely adapted to large robotic and Cartesian systems to create end-use parts and manufacturing aids like fixtures in metals and plastics. Equipment has even been developed to build buildings and other architectural works.

Target Audience: This introductory seminar is an overview and intended for technical and management staff.

Money for Manufacturing is available for eligible CT manufacturers through the Additive Manufacturing Adoption Program (AMAP) directly supporting your adoption of additive technologies into your company. Applications for this selective, $100,000 matching grant will be accepted April 1, 2021 to May 31, 2021 and is funded by the CT Department of Economic and Community Development and administered by CCAT.  Learn more about our other Money for Manufacturing programs at: ccat.us/programs.
